Ring Size Guide
A thoughtful fit, measured with confidence.
01 / Measure with care
String or paper method
- Wrap a non-stretch string or narrow paper strip around the base of the intended finger.
- Keep it snug, not tight. Mark where the ends meet; do not add a comfort allowance yet.
- Lay the strip flat and measure from the start to your mark in millimeters. Repeat three times.
- Match the circumference to the conversion table. A paper or string measurement is an estimate, not a substitute for a jeweler’s fitting.
Measure an existing ring
Choose a round ring that fits the same finger and hand. Measure the inside diameter, not the outside edge, or place it over the true-scale circles in the PDF. Match the circle to the ring’s inner edge.
If the ring is oval, bent or between circles, have a jeweler measure it. Never measure the circles from a screen.
02 / Print at true scale
Download the PDF and print on US Letter or A4 at 100% / Actual size. Turn off Fit to page and Shrink oversized pages. Measure the 50 mm calibration line with a physical ruler before cutting the strip. If it is not exactly 50 mm, do not use the printed measurements. Print settings—not the screen—determine scale.

Conversions are approximate: EU is rounded inner circumference in millimeters; UK and JP equivalents vary between charts and manufacturers. Confirm the sizing standard with client care. Professional fitting is best for valuable or non-resizable rings.
04 / The finer details
Time it right
Measure at the end of the day with comfortably warm hands. Repeat on two or three days; avoid exercise, extreme heat or cold just before measuring.
Wide bands
Bands around 6 mm or wider can feel tighter. Consider half a US size up, but confirm the specific band with a jeweler.
Knuckles
Measure your finger base and knuckle. The ring should pass the knuckle with gentle resistance and sit comfortably at the base. A large difference calls for a professional fitting.
A surprise proposal
Borrow a ring worn on the intended finger and hand, or ask a trusted friend. A ring from another finger is not a reliable match. Confirm that the setting can be resized before purchase.
